What are fire buckets?
A fire bucket is a bucket filled with water or sand which is used to prevent or extinguish fires. Typically, fire buckets are painted bright red and have the word fire stenciled on them. They date back hundreds of years with some of the earlier known variants being made from a heavy duty leather, often decorated with a coat of arms.
